It did have an unfortunate tendency to nose-dive, however.

My 21-fretter does the same thing, because the neck is longer.
But that V49 has one incredible bridge...

Thanks Kevin! They must have had some quality flame left over in small pieces, to have that kind of wood as the wings of the headstock and the more-unremarkable wood on the rest of the bass. Especially on the back, the wood is much darker on the neck-thru than the body wings.

I do get them from your work address (at least some of them perhaps?), but you sent an email once that said do not send them to your work address anymore because our emails were personal and they frown on your using business email for personal stuff
