1) Tom's Super bowl guitar had:--------F hole, white binding, round fret markers, tp ??------------= 1964 360 “Export” ??? Is this a Rose Morris?
2) Then there is the one with:----------F hole, white binding, triangle fret markers, "R" tp--------= RM 1993 ???
3) Prior to now I only knew about:------F hole, no binding, round fret markers, vibrato tp---------= RM 1998 ???
4) For 2006 Rick had a 3/4 scale:-------F hole, no binding, round fret markers, vibrato tp---------= RM 1996

There were 6 and 12 strings.

Is this it? Do I have it correct? Are there more?
Welcome to the Forum, Bruce!

1993 - 12-string, F-hole, double bound, dot markers, R or trapeze tailpiece depending on production time
1996 - F-hole, short scale, vibrato, 3 pickups
1997 - F-hole, no binding, dot markers, 2 pickups, vibrato
1998 - F-hole, no binding, dot markers, 3 pickups, vibrato
1999 - ask the bass guys...
I think there was a 1995 - an export version on a 625

Also, the (very few) export 12-strings with triangle markers...I've seen them classified as 360S/12 O.S. The one Pete Townshend had, at least, had regular chrome-top, non-export knobs...hence the "S" (as opposed to a RM model name). Carl Wilson had what was essentially a 1993 but with chrome-top knobs, and I believe its model number is 330S/12 based on that. A little confusing, yes.

Yes. Sorry, you're correct, I mixed up 1 and 2 while cutting and pasting.

I meant this.

1) Tom's Super bowl guitar had:--------F hole, white binding, round fret markers, tp ??------------= RM 1993 ???
2) Then there is the one with:----------F hole, white binding, triangle fret markers, "R" tp--------= 1964 360 “Export” ??? Is this a Rose Morris?
3) Prior to now I only knew about:------F hole, no binding, round fret markers, vibrato tp---------= RM 1998 ???

No probs. BTW, I think a 1995 was an export 615, not a 625 like I wrote earlier...

Should've said this Sunday when I saw it...

My dad found a pic of Tom and the 1993 in the local paper. He cut the pic out and gave it to me. It showed the guitar in great detail. The TRC looked very much like it was from the V-series. I know for a fact that TRCs in '64 didn't look that perfect. Any thoughts?

Jake, here's a pic of the peghead from my 1964 360/12, and the TRC on TP's 1993 is pretty near this one. The early 12-strings didn't have a uniform shape at all, but by late '64 they pretty much did.
Dec. 1964...
Dec. 1964...

According to some of the folks who've posted on this topic before, the very early 12-strings sometimes had "misshapen" TRCs due to parallel routing on the headstock and the associated difficulty in cutting a TRC for this space. Pete Townshend's 360S/12 O.S. had one of those wonky-looking TRCs, as well as the RM1993 shown in Bacon & Day. Once a slight curve was added to each routing, fitting a properly shaped TRC was made easier.

Here are some pics I found of Tom and the 1993. I guess this is a late '64-late '65 model

Good pix, Jake. At the moment, I'd simply be satisfied to be a Rickenbacker packer, or a Ric picker. :D

my bad...did Petty ever play a "V"?
Early on he did, a black one. There's some black and white footage of him playing it in the studio on the Runnin' Down A Dream documentary. It also apparently saw some stage use, although I've never seen a photograph of him playing it.
