Scotty....I think the Italian-made C12N speaker is worthy. I used to have a lacquered tweed special ed Blues Jr., which came stock with one. It did justice to Fender cleans. It also became growly at a 4-5 setting with master volume down and volume up. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on your Deluxe 'Verb. I'm sorry to hear about the reverb circuit cutting out on you. Yeah, Scotty,I hear what you're saying about the Boogie's Subway Blues. It really is a sleeper of an amp. After all these years, it's held up like a tank and it combines well with my Rics. Surprisingly, the clean sound goes well with my Rics. Sure, it's not a Fender-type clean but it scoops out the mids noticeably for a clean sound all its own. Definitely a loud puppy with some bark to it, too, for just a 20-watter with a 10" speaker. Late.....Goofyfoot.

I played my Ricks through a Mesa Maverick 2x12 for a long time. Wonderful amp.

Sloopster.....Mesa Boogie's Maverick was one sweet box, man. If I recall, it had pure Class A power with four EL84's and a 5AR4 (for the rectifier?) and a pair of V30 speakers. Man, do you still have this puppy? Play on, pick on, and prosper, brah. Late....Goofyfoot.

When playing with a band I use a Marshall 30w `Blues Breaker' 2x12 combo with my Fender DRI , ABYed.

I don't have it anymore, but I didn't sell it! A few years ago, a friend was moving from Manhattan to San Fran and the amp was too big/heavy for him to take, so he gave it to me. Just this year, he mentioned that he moved into a house and was all setlled in, and asked if i'd send it back - how could I say no? It was so great of him to loan it to me for a few years.

My go to?

I have my Fender Deluxe driving my Vibratone and a "A"/"B" switch to jump over to my 72 Marshall 100 watt stack.

That is a spare 6 string neck for a 4080/12 doubleneck. It is an interchangeable bolt on.
