Understood - thanks!

$20 or under shipped to your door is fair with me.

Hey all -

Just wanted to give you an update on the CD's progress. The audio master has left the UK and is on it's way to me for the duping. Tony is finalizing the layout details, and provided there are no unforseen obstacles to come up, the CD should be ready to order in a couple of weeks. Stay tuned for the offical release announcement!

Good one, Brad!

But just the same, I'm proud to say that YES - it is too late to change your song.

He could probably change it but I doubt the 'changed' version would have a snowball's chance in hell of making it on this CD

hahahahahahahahahhahahahahahah... Funny Brad, very funny....

I'm just finishing the artwork now....I'll email a copy to Mark & Peter for their comments later today...in fact, in a minute!
Finally getting there. Mark has the CD & is just waiting for the artwork.

I take responsibility for the absurd lengh of time that this project has taken & all I can do is apologise. It started with the very best intentions, but for some reason, it just went horribly wrong & I don't really know why...again I offer my apologies. One thing that hasn't gone wrong though, is the quality & depth of submissions. I think you will love this album....I do.

I also bear responsibility for the dragged-out timeline. As Tony says, we did not intend for it to take so long, but many factors were at play.

Gary, you were so important in getting this started & I thank you for all your efforts. You put a lot of work in by collating all of the submissions & sending them to me in a logical & workable format. Your contribution to this project has been invaluable & is very much apreciated by all.

The artwork has been OK'd & I just need to check spellings & make a couple of small adjustments. I'll ask Mark to double check & tomorrow it will be sent to the CD manufacturers & we're on a roll.

I have had to par down the info provided, as we have decided to go for a 4 page booklet. To keep the writing to a size that we can all read, I have opted to provide on the CD as a whole....song title, performer/band name, writer & Rics used. I have not found space for all the performers names, non rics & other equipment used, or recording info. Apologies for this, but their are 19 songs on the album & it is impossible to list all the information. I have also not directly indicated members names, or user names. This is also as a result of keeping the CD info readable. We all more or less know each other & I am sure that threads will be started for more information about individual tracks. I hope no one objects too strongly about these omissions, but I would argue that there is still more info available than on some commercial compilation CD's......& we also have the option of asking each other for info.

BTW, my final cover design was plan B, as plan A didn't work!!!! Hope you like it...at least it's distinctive!
