No, the painted finish on the C64S fretboard is much much thinner compared to the C64
But still there is some on it

Another question: Why are there little white marks on the rosewood fretboard of the c64?. I have seen several photos of C64S fretboards and there are not this white marks… maybe in photos i can not appreciate it.

Those are the tiny cavities on the wood that are stuccoed (filled-sealed) before the lacquer finish is applied

Thanks!! I do not why C64S has not this cavities… it seem like uniform tone of wood.

Hi!
The C64S body and neck mate finish, is it oil or lacquer?.
Im in process of transformation my C64 into C64S. Some tips to keep in mind? Do any of you know someone who has made this transformation?
