I agree about the "journey" part of discovery. I totally believe that much of life SHOULD be a serendipitous discovery. But, there are times when a newbie might feel dumb about asking "Hey, what's COY or NOS?" and thereby prohibit them from continuing on in the adventure due to embarassment or frustration. Me- I don't mind making myself look like an idiot...just ask my students!

And, I apologize to all who may see me as some kind of upstart newbie- I'm not trying to rock anyone's boat, just trying to see if I can help out on the oars in any minor way at all- or make the rowing easier for others. I'm a helper- just built that way.

That's cool Kira- is that the actual SN?!? So is it used as an abbreviation in the forums when referring to this specific instrument? I don't want to start listing all the model numbers for instruments- but if this is some kind of a "code" referring to JL's actual guitar, then I think it's a good thing to include in that list.

Yes, v81 refers to his actual one-and -only 325 that now sits in the museum in Tokyo.
