Ouch. Not to further hijack this thread, but if you owned a '58 Strat and and a '69 4001, would you leave them in a rehearsal space? Heck, I'd sleep with them. I totally sympathize, but you can't cure stupid.
Can we have everything louder than everything else?

I agree, John, those two would have been travelling every time back home if they were mine.

The 4001 BG that I spotted is on the Washington DC Craigslist, and it does not appear to be yours:

I think I e-mailed this guy and asked him to put the s/n and any images he had in the Registry.

Hopefully he did.

Here it is on eBay.

They even listed the serial number, and it matches. If you filed the police report, you should be all good to get this back.

I sent Jake an email too -- hopefully he sees one or the other soon. Looks like it's still in the same area, so hopefully he can go and get it in person. I debated emailing the seller, but thought it better not to tip the guy off just in case he decided to do anything shady with it before Jake can take care of things. Looks like the seller is not the thief, unless he's a really, really stupid thief.

I hope the ebay listing isn't a typo of some sort.

I just want you to get it back. Glad you're able to get it taken care of in a quick manner...
