Seems like a reasonable compromise and should take care of all the concerns.
Yes, hopefully this is a good number to find out whether people would like to be part of this family or just be an opportunist.

I love my new family of Ric freaks! :D

Though, I'm a few months away from pondering another Ric purchase, but I'll check here for sure when I'm ready.

Sorry, I guess I should have said "late summer" ... for some reason I always think of August as a fall month. :?

Please take note that following discussions of the 100 post limit, this number has be adjusted and set at 30 posts. I appreciate the feedback from those who did not see the changes announced in other threads and I apologize for any confusion that may have developed as a result.

Hi Gary,

I'm honored by your invite! You know, I'm merely a hop/skip/jump from So Cal, so it's certainly a possibility (even when I move up to Portland, OR as is in the works, it only adds another ~1hr flight time). I look forward to getting the dates so I can work on meeting some of my new Ric family members in person. What an exciting thought!

Peace, all.

Since I've lived in SoCal, I think of January as a fall month.

Really glad to hear about this lowering of the bar. Honestly, I just don't think I would have been able to hit 100. I tend to use internet forums in a targeted, goal-oriented manner. Occasionally, if a forum is especially interesting, I stick around. Is that being an opportunist? I don't know. But I do know that writing a bunch of posts with the sole reason of achieving 100 posts would inevitably have led me to write **** posts.
