Technically your version of my picture is right, Jeff.... My Purpleburst really was a gorgeous fireglo before its makeover. The color was beautifully ambered and was a very rich deep shade of reddish=brown at the edges. Would have kept it that way, but unfortunately it had severe finish checking issues.... so I'm happy with the transformation!jps wrote:Um.......
I think I have one, but it's very small and not a very good picture--I'll have to search through my files to find it, as the picture was taken about three computers ago!jps wrote:Do you have any photos of the original finish Melissa?
You mean like this?steverok wrote:We also need one to describe someone who's always sneaking in a picture of their FG, you know, the old "you mean like THIS ONE ??" routine.
I'll call that :
(9) "FireGlo Intrusion" : The act of always trampling on another's thread with a picture of THEIR FireGlo. This is equivalent to the old game of "one-up-manship". This is really just an example of "FireGlo Grandstanding" or "FireGlo Callousness".
No!whojamfan wrote:I'd be surprised if you didn't get a bill for all that space you took up posting that new aquisition of yours Scotty!![]()
Sure looks nice-swap you a Gibson Melody maker in worn white for it![]()

I had always preferred Mapleglo until I got the 660/12 LH FG!cjj wrote:Ya know what? I never used to think Fireglo was that great a color... Then I got the nicest Fireglo of them all:
That is an interesting way to describe time!melibreits wrote:jps wrote:the picture was taken about three computers ago!
Richard, your Fireglo perfectly fits my definition of "Fireglorious."wmthor wrote: I had always preferred Mapleglo until I got the 660/12 LH FG!
