You got the shadows and all the other fun stuff on the other hand.
And in Europe we get nothing

Rickenbacker have been smart here. Thet don't call it a RM1999 but a 1999, this means there should be little confusion as to what era of reissue it is. It's not a V63 or a C64, its a 1999...
It would be nice to see them being made again, but if we get some sort of modernised style of 4001s bass (like the current one off special) I think that would be great too.

Hi, everyone,
Japanese Rose-Morris 1999 re-issue bass is manufactured from the limitation by 60 special orders of the official Rickenbacker dealer in Japan(Shinseido), and they have the finish of FG and JG (Perhaps, though the most seems FG finish) with Vintage Silver HSC.
These of other respects make the headstock the correct direction(non-reverse) based on latest 4001C64 and not 4001V63, and in the one that Finger-Rest was installed as original Rose-Morris 1999, are the same as 4001C64.
Neck has been structure from 1 piece wood to 2 pieces wood changed in the Rickenbacker factory since last year though everybody doesn't understand whether you know. Therefore, they seem to exist together in this Japanese Rose-Morris 1999 re-issue and same condition in the 4001C64 of last ordered.
The two-pieces bonded neck structured seems to be considered that value is lower than the one-piece neck, and to be sold cheap.
Moreover, the traditional one-piece neck structured is whole and seems comparatively to be few in 60.
I bought one of Japanese Rose-Morris 1999 re-issue(one-piece neck) in few days ago.

Very nice and welcome Koji! Interesting they routed the wire trench the old way. Surprised they don't have old style truss rods then. Nice FG finish.
