Why is the TRC falling off the headstock?

Also, it is hard to see the walnut wings, do you have a better photo of the headstock, thanks? 8)
The TRC is secure. I do not have another picture of the headstock at this time.

I think the shadow from the high light source gave the illusion of the TRC not being attached to the headstock.

Ah yes, from down under batch, and discussed at the beginning of the month. The registry shows the original photo's, including the TRC.

Looking much better with a full TRC and horseshoe p/u, although unless you have a period correct bobbin Josh, it's not exactly Macca spec.

Thank You. I had the original toaster repaired and reinstalled the original horseshoe. Had my Luthier repair the cracked TRC and had him also relocate the tailpiece. Plays GREAT!

You've got quite the Beatle collection going don't you. I see you put a new TRC on that bass you managed to get...

I am watching a friends of mines 4001 bass and have instantly fallen in love with it the playing and sound of the pickups are something that can not truly be described to the masses only by playing.

She's a real beauty, for sure. Love the look of the vintage Ric 4001's... can't be beaten in my opinion.

It took more than a few days but here finally are some photos of my 1964 4001S. Serial is DK571. I'd be interested to know how it found it's way to Oz.
