Long, but helpful to pervent buyers to purchase fake TRC. I know for a fact that I wouldn't want this to happen to me. how much for a faker would go?? $300-500??? Get realTommy wrote:This thread is really getting long and being filled with uncertainty; so just so will all have a base starting point, I present the following:
This is a fake gold Ric TRC --
Note how the second k is angled a bit too far to the right and doesn't follow the same vertical line of the R, first k, and b.
That's how you can tell if it is a fake or not.
Also do note how the name is almost two parts "Ricken backer" on it!Tommy wrote:

Only one of these has fake goods and will be gone shortly.LenMinNJ wrote:I'm curious why Rickenbacker doesn't ask eBay to take these auctions down. There are a few more active now:

Not a good assumption at all. Surely we're going to miss some and beyond that, it can take 24 hours or more sometimes for items to disappear after we delete them.LenMinNJ wrote:And if Rickenbacker is monitoring eBay auctions, can we can assume that all TRC auctions that are not removed are offering real TRCs?
Anyone want to start a thread of pictures of real TRCs from different eras?
