Gil, thanks for bringing back the old forum.

Thanks for your comments one and all. We have gone back to the "old days".

We will slowly go forward as we collect our thoughts and ponder new horizons.

I thank Gil for all his work and RRF members for your patience and understanding.

Old Forum is my fave style. Thanks for bringing it back.

After all those years with the old layout, I got in a panic yesterday, thinking things would never be the same again or even involvement of mayan calender things.
The new logo is very nice and I kind of like the blueboy idea for the new layout.
Although this could use some tweaking (get rid of that pink and mid blue for instance).
Maybe this could be a realy easy thing to do: change the colours of the forum so users can view their favourite forum in Jetglo, Blueboy, Fireglo etc..
I did that on a phpbb forum years ago, and it wasn't much work at all. Even all the banners changed.
These's some colours that come back on almost every Ric guitar; white, black and chrome.

Brilliant idea, I love it!

Despite Peter and Gil's comments above saying that they've restored the old forum look, I still see the new look (when using both Mac and iPad Safari and Chrome for Mac). What gives?

+2! Nice to see you can go back to "Old Forum" and get the orangy brown color or "Prosilver" and get the blue colors, but with the old style. I always ran Prosilver.

I have to say that I really like the old banner better with the guitars and such. The simple red banner just looks cheesy in my opinion, especially being red. And all the bright red buttons, yeah, it makes it a bit more obvious where they are, but I found them rather distracting and again, cheesy looking, especially being red.

I do appreciate all the work that goes into maintaining this site and keeping it available to us. If it changes, I'll stick around and get used to it how ever it looks. But as others have said, why fix what isn't broken? The new style seems to mention of "Wordpress," was the change related to changing to Wordpress? I don't know a lot about Wordpress, we use Dream Weaver...

Old is certainly the best , plus with the new style I'm sure my posts would have become more knee jerked and confused than they already are .
