That might help Paul W. some if there are agreed upon designs.......unless of course he has some designs of his own in mind. I say whatever works. Also, I do like the idea of a fireglo 4003 for the bass players 'cause thats what I play, but I'd take a jetglo, or mapleglo, or....or...
I'd rather die while I'm livin' that live while I'm dead!

My two-penneth....I agree with everything really. The forum logo on the front & two shirts, one with a 4000 series bass & another for the guitarists. 360 has been suggested, but what about a 330 or a 360v64....classic shapes. Please, please, please DON'T make it a 320! I'll have some of each.
Also, thanks to Mr Hall & Peter for permission & of course JJ, for offering to organise the project.

'Rickenbacker'...what a name! After all these years, it still thrills me.

OK, everyone. I'll contact John Hall and Peter McCormack off-list and discuss their requirements. Of course they will ask for and receive final OK in design and first sample phases.
I'll have to get with Cafe Press and check on prices, colors, mechanical requirements, etc., along with whatever their basic fees are, if any.
Give me two weeks max on this first "requirements" phase.
In the meantime, I'm going to be polling your design ideas, so now's the time to speak up. I want to come up with something that pleases the Forum membership, bass and guitar players. I already see some interesting stuff has been presented for both guitar and bass. And, yes, this is on my nickel, but it's too much fun to turn down! All I ask is reasonable patience through the process.

Not necessary. I volunteered and will do this gratis. It's fun and a good change from my purposeless existence.

I'll be easy. Whatever everyone else decides on. And if we have choices of guitar or bass, I'll take the former.
Just lemme know when you get to cost and where to pay.
Thanking you in advance, Paul.
