More pictures!
I can hardly wait for the call to come from Grayson's...this wait is going to be tough for the guitar folks, at least us bass lovers have some photos!

The feedback I've been getting from Rickenfriends is that the TRC engraving is too subtle in plain gold, so production units will have chrome silver "Rickenbacker" script against a gold background.

That chrome script really makes it stand out nicely Paul. How long does it take to make one of these TRCs? How automated is the process?

Thanks John W..Comments like that make my job that much more satisfying, and also drive me personally to take quality and creativity to the next level..
Rant begins..
On another note, think about how many CEO's of a successful company do you see throw a big 'ol 3 day long party for their customers, take their own product in hand and get up on a stage with other similarly dedicated employees (I mean c'mon,is Kenny a killer frontman or what?) and make some badass sounds spew forth? Just for the heck of it..All at a considerable cost to himself, his family and employees in both their time and money..Not to mention, being accessable on an internet forum! In this day and age? Pfftt..You're/We're a lucky bunch here..
End of Rant...
Peace Rickenbrothers and sisters..

You're right Eric.
You are lucky to be part of such a great operation. Maybe it's just luck to be able to get involved with the operation to begin with, but your obvious dedication to quality & creativity makes you a worthwhile & valuable part of the team there, and far surpasses any luck involved at this point. You should feel really good about that.
I feel the same way about where I work, with the co-workers and upper-level management that dedicate themselves to a business they (we) love. It's a great feeling, no doubt. Even better for a smaller, "family-operated" business.
There are many companies out there who give so much, in their own way. It's awfully nice that your way can be represented in such an artistic way that so many can enjoy. That's very cool.
That kind of giving mentality brings out the feelings that we've seen here I think.
I'm just going to stop there. Just keep feeling what you're feeling and stay driven to succeed in whatever way makes you feel good.

Your photo was enough Jeffrey. That was a sweet shot of a sweet bass.
Have you changed your email? I sent you one re: a 75th Anniversary 660. I think I later saw that you found one...correct?

Didn't you get my reply, as I did get your e-mail? I did find one at Rhoads Music. I am very much looking forward to getting the 660, I know it is going to look incredible. I already know it will play and sound fantastic.

Hmmm. I didn't. Thanks. I'm glad you were able to find one. I was just looking out for you. In fact, I ordered it just in case you didn't get one. Well...I guess I'm stuck with it. Anyway, thanks for that photo of the 4003. It is the best shot I've seen so far.

I asked Peter to remove me from the site (so I won't be tempted to post). I just didn't want to leave without saying "Bye". Take it easy ya'll.
