It has that lovely “Rick meets J bass” sound I love, especially on Moondance. So nice to hear one of these basses outside the usual overdriven sludge/doom/whatever sound.
This is making me yearn for my custom Laredo I sold. (The 4002v57).
Thanks. I like the AC, but it's not perfect for everything. For instance, it just didn't fit in the surf band I play in, but it's great in this band!

Hi Phil, if I'm seeing correctly, you've mounted the treble pickup cover over the front of the tailpiece. Is that for a convenient hand rest when playing with a pick?
