No worries Paul, all is as was expected. The wait is juicy and tantalizing all on it's own, particularly when reviewing the photos in this thread and on your site. Project Black Cherry will get it's own spot all in due time.

I've got a trio of acoustics coming out of the booth. There's this one, an Aquaglo 730L/12 (yours, Tim), and a 730L/12 in a burst that I call, "Cremona".
This 700C/6 is unique in that it's got a set of gold open-back Grover tuners, a specially-designed MOP guard and TRC, and of course, the special headstock. Whether dubbed, "Batwing", "Fishtail", or "Seagull About to Swoop Down on Your New Hat", it's really special. I call the guitar, "Venezia", although the lagoon in Venice should be so lucky to ever be this color again.
More on the way, too, in addition to all the refins and restos being assembled after a big spray booth session lasting three weeks!
More tomorrow, etc...

beautiful creation and color, paul! the headstock is really graceful-i like the curves on the batwings....and the mop trc is too cool-i think jeffrey in cleveland may need one of those for his new 4003.....(!)

Thanks, Woody!
I am only licensed to make TRCs for the acoustics that I build.

I love the cool heel on the AQG.

Thanks, Jeff, but I wouldn't get this one confused with Aquaglo, nor is it Blueburst, strictly speakin'.
It's very much pale aqua in the center, but the burst darkens to cobalt blue, and at the edges is actually a deep blue-violet. Then there's the bit of pearl shading that doesn't show in the photos.
I'll have photos of it next to a true, vivid Aquaglo 730L/12 in the next couple of days. Just finishing up the AQG 730 now as part of a pair of 12 dreadnoughts. The other is a very classic deep brown/red burst that I call "Verona".

That one is very special, Paul. Another great one.
Love the TV sitting behind it, though it is useless functionally now-a-days.
