I guess it could also be a dolphin tail!!

Nicely done. Matching back is lovely.

The best part of your description of the up and coming to me was this "an Aquaglo 730L/12 (yours, Tim)". Love to see that in print.

Feel free to post pics when you get it buffed up.

Looks like you're on a roll.

Best,

Manta

A couple of more completed this week...

Lately I've taken to naming each individual project to reflect its uniqueness. So, the jumbo with the fancy headstock has been dubbed "Venezia", the reddish 730L/12 with the Gibby-type burst is "Verona", and the Aquaglo 730L/12 "Tumon Bay", since it will find its home in Guam.

The maple figuring on all three of these is very nice, but the back figuring on "Tumon" is probably the most unusual I've seen since I've been building maple Rick acoustics...

Finally, the difference between the blue shading of the Jumbo and that of the Aquaglo dreadnought:

Wow, absolutely stunning! :D

With all of those "V" names, "Venezia", "Verona", let's just hope you never make one that needs to me named "Vuvuzela"...

Hmm........ haven't ordered an acoustic from Paul but if I did (and with my tastes in color) I wonder if he'd call it "Down Under Chunder"!!

"Barfglo" anyone?

BTW..... gorgeous creations as always, Paul. :D

One Fireglo trumpet coming up.

Eric, thanks for the compliment. Coming from you, it means a lot!

Aitch, "Chunderglo" would probably require some wig hair for added texture.

Tumon Bay, one of Micronesia's showcase marine preserves (a couple blocks from my house), is a very apt description for the Aquaglo 730L/12. See a bit of comparison. You nailed it Paul (as usual).
A true work of art.

Best,

That flame pattern does give it the look of ripples in a tropical lagoon...   8)
