My bass head is a Behringer BX3000T like this one:
Image It's probably the best $150 you could ever spend on a 300W bass amp!

I took it out of the head cabinet and put it in a faux Vox AC-50 head, to match my NCM T-60 speaker cab.

I've been waiting for my rack to come home from the last few shows...here it tis!
Image
My rig is all GK, GK400RBIII head, with a Furman power conditioner / tuner / rack light, Alesis compressor and MidiVerb 3 for effects when I want them, and an Aphex Aural Exciter for that EXTRA LOW bottom. Cabs are (2) 4x10 GK cabinets. Settings are as they were when I left the stage last.

And here is how I know my case when we unload all of the stuff from the truck...

I asked an employee why so cheap, and he said no one wants to buy older amps. All I did was polish it up and clean up the electronics.

That is an Austin-Healey "Cooper-S" logo, I found mine at a customizing store. But they do have them on Ebay also...

I can see why you might be interested, my fellow barrel-maker! Image

It is the nicest amp head I've ever had, Jeff. Got a matching cabinet too with a 15". Just got it yeaterday and haven't had a lot of time to mess around but I plan to play all the collection through it this weekend.

Jeff - any chance you can make the summer So. Cal. confluence? I think Ted's coming.

I'm just here asking someone to look at the tone question thread. I have won the BA210SP on ebay and have to decide which amp to keep....

Charly, I wish I had that problem!

My 2c. says to keep the Ampeg, just because they sound so good being fed RIC. But those Edens...

I see your dilemma, big time. But I have alwys loved Ampegs.
What do you mean the Bass is too loud???
