No more bluebursts for a good long while imho. Guinessglo (hic!) would be righteous. Satin finish, brown on the outside, blonde in the middle. Nice idea, Stubby. Yep.

There are so many great colors they could use...

Pine Green
Aegean Blue
French Ultramarine
Rose
Naples Yellow
Copper
Cherry Red
Candy Apple Green
Coral
Orangesicle
Chocolate Brown
etc

I hope they pick something unusual.

Thanks Paul for the astute notation. All of the Montezuma Brown guitars I have seen, and ahem, I own two, have at the very least a tinge of orange in the finish. Brown and blonde only, they are not.

Yes, Oliver, my own 2 MBs photograph exactly the same as yours--with that orange tinge in the middle.

But in real life, it's natural wood and a lovely dark reddish-brown. And, somehow that orange transitional band disappears.

But I guess we're picking nits...

What color are nits, by the way?

On second thought, don't answer that. My stomach just turned.

I still like the white/white scheme... but a translucent white "wash" with white trim could be just the ticket!

Pearlescent white would be great, but it has to be somewhat subtle, kind of like those new pearlescent-colored Toyotas.... combined with a more noticeably pearlescent white pickguard. And maybe gold trim....

Well.... When my husband worked away from home and also sold ancient coins as a hobby, we had plenty of extra "play money," and he often bought me guitars.... But now that Hubby has left his "real" (but lousy) job and the "hobby" has turned into a full-fledged business, our "play money" is just managing to keep up with paying the bills and investing in enough inventory to hopefully get ahead eventually--I have kept my nose to the grindstone helping my husband post as many coins on our site as possible and packaging up the orders to send out, in hopes that we can get ahead enough to finance my "dream Ric!"

So.... Tell all your coin collecting friends to buy their ancients at AncientImports.com.... LOL! Sorry about the shameless plug--it's a Blueburst dream I'm working for, here!
