We need Ted to come as he has a great range of instruments to add to the Fest (confluence)! Not to mention he's just a great guy to have around.

Jeff, I believe Ted is one of the folks, not unlike yourself, who has no say in the matter. He must be there. His instruments would be nice, but his friendship and knowledge is a necessity.
I might be able to get away with just sending my 4005 and CS with someone else and saving the trip, however he cannot pull that off. The presence is required.
Oh, and BTW, I just set up my stand up bass, so if you can let me borrow your Walter Woods amp for say maybe.....forever...I would consider that a gentlemanly thing to do...

I like yours best ;>)
There's one listed on Craigslist for $900. He says it's 225 watts @ 8 ohms, 400 watts bridged. If he still has it, I'll grab it tomorrow.

It is very important to get/make the correct type of cable for bridging these amps. Let me know if you get it.

Hey Jeff, I might have details including pics of that Craigslist amp this evening. If you don't mind, I'd like to pass it to you, and maybe you can give me advice if it's the right one or not.
I'm a little surprised at his price that he still has it.

Dumb question - what basically goes on at a confluence? Do es eveyone just get together and admire each other's Rics or are there jam sessions? Do I need to bring an amp?

Good question Ron. There are people who are bringing guitar and bass amps so that if people want to hear how something sounds it will be possible. Probably just impromptu jams of guitar and bass, for there is not enough room for a small stage or drums. I forsee the Fest(confluence) as a day of 'Rickenbacker fellowship', if you will, with many instruments on display and a chance to meet many who post here and see and learn about Rickenbackers.

Yes, alot of Ric admiration goes on.
I just think it's so cool that we get to meet the folks that are only known to us through the internet.
I would have gone to the one in England if it wasn't the day after this one, and definately not missed the one in Cali had I not had other obligations. It's the best Ron.

The best part is meeting other folks from the forum. It's pretty nice that you somewhat know everybody but to talk to them face to face and shake some hands is a real treat.
Plenty of admiration certainly goes on and it was nice to see how everybody was so laid back with others handling their Rics.....some of which were very rare/valuable. It was just a great time.
