I take the Frying Pan out of the case and play Death Metal on it.
I prefer 650's to be perfectly honest...

Only 64 tracks? It's 512 actually but I've never gone over 500 so I don't really know.

Do John or Ben Hall have had a Rickenbacker one-off made to their own specifications?

John has the "dumpster bass", but I don't know if it's exactly to "his specifications".

Hey Ben-
When's my 381/12v69 BBR going to come on line?
Silly question as I placed the order on 11/14......

I think they're planting the seeds for the curly maple trees right now!

kevin, I gave them a 500. deposit( 200. would have done) and then did the same every once and a while and now it's paid for, I did'nt have to do it that way, but now I don't have to find the money later. Jerry is a good guy and fair, and when I ordered mid april the good folks at Ric told him 1 yr, winters coming and that FG would help to keep my belly warm, but I'm going to have to make do with my sunburst jazz..oh well

Thank you Richard, I'm going to wait & see what '06 will bring. Then I'll have a year to pay it off. I'm already way overstretched after my doubleneck purchase, but I don't want to wait another 25 years to get something if I really like it.

Kevin - that's the great thing about ordering new Rickenbackers. There's usually a lot of lead time to save up before the guitar actually arrives!

That's the idea

I'm VERY broke at the moment, but if the 75th anniversary something or other is appealing to me I've gotta jump on the chance. Besides, tax time is coming up & the refund will pay off some earlier purchases.
Waiting is no fun, but I've got my 3 other Ricks to keep me company. I'd really like to have a new one, though.

Just add the right amount of sunshine and water sprinkle in a bit of time and viola' an new 381/12v69 BBR will eventually appear. Now all ole curly maple has to do is avoid those dang lightning strikes. Good sense of humor Ben LMAO

"Viola" ?
I hope Rickenbacker doesn't plan on branching into classical instruments.

Brian meant to say "celló".
