Well there a b***h to color completely but yes if I was doing a fret level. Permanently naa, I'm not that into having an all black bass. Sharpie does come off with denatured alcohol. I'll test it on one of my project basses and let you know.

I once saw a Fender Jazz bass that was made in the Japanese custom shop, that had colored frets. Each fret was a different color. The rest of the bass was snow white. Quite impressive.

IMHO the Shadow looks perfect. I wouldn't change a single thing about it.

Yes it is a b_tch to color!

Thinking of using tape to border the frets...
