Here are a couple customs that I have done, along with a Dano DC3, my Ric 230, my '73 RIC 4001 that I've sold, and a Strat I put together. I always like to do stuff differently than most, so that accounts for the odd shape or two. You can also see my AC30 and Ampeg SVT in the background. Hope you like them.

VERY nice! If I had found one that nice I would still have a Fender!
The J pup addition makes all the difference in the world, I found.

Hmmm...a new bass brand in the offing?
"Jeff, you gonna play the 4003-5 tonight? "
"Nope, I've decided to use the Honky MoFo..."
Beautiful work, Jeff. And I mean that in the worst way...so now you're covered!

That's a pretty mean FireGlo! I like the Jazz copy even better!
I may do just that kind of thing some time.

I gave that jazz to a kid who wanted to learn bass ... I converted it back to a 4 string ...
I have a new jazz bass that I built that has yet to be photographed and I will be building a new p-bass with different pickups ...

Are the bodies pre finished? I know you've said the necks are available sealed.
It seems to me the best way to get the Jazz you're after without paying for the name & age.
