Preface: I love Rickenbackers.

How about something altogether new for a change ????

You can save your breath if you like. I already know what the next -C- will be . . . if there ever is one.

I can hear some of the readers thinking about now,"Oh, Jeez, he musta found a supplier for crushed pearl inlay!!"So, Of course, there are a lot of possibilities here[only one I have any interest in would be a dead nuts on 360-12 like McGuinns' 1st Rick, but that's just me.And I'm not holding my breath]

I like the idea of having Paul or Dale as a pseudo custom shop for those that want a 4001V68. I've only had a minor job done by Paul but the work was spectacular so I'd certainly go that route again.

I'd prefer to see Ric release new models. Or get the 4004Cii/5 back into production. I'm far more interested in a 4004Ciii as opposed to a reissue of something I can find used or have made in Paul or Dale's shop.

Here we go! I tried to warn you Ben. Sometimes you have to let these threads die of natural causes. Even if it is a painful, natural death.

"4004Ciii?"

I just mean the next something new.....it may be a further evolution of the Cheyenne series.

Fortunately, Mr. Hall has stated that he has no interest in offering black hardware again.

I'd say a new style 360 (21 frets, f.w. inlays, toasters, etc) would be a safe and probable bet for the next C instrument, unless JH has something wacky up his sleeve. Who knows?

Yeah, I'd buy a 360/12c65 or a 370/12c66. Or maybe a combo 850!(see other thread)
