Hey Jeff-

while in LA area ya might try Sushi Sasabune up in Brentwood.

they got this chef called the "Sushi Nazi" like the soup guy on Seinfeld.

bring lots of cash or cc.

oh and don't ask for toro mixed w/wasabi...

Make it up to the Valley, my friend's place "Ue Ka Mu" on Ventura Bl. is the best. It's a Japanese hangout, other sushi chefs go when they're off work. Not for the trendoids.
If the owner, Jun Hirano, is there, tell him I sent you. I've got a picture of him playing my 4005 somewhere, can't find it now.
