I thought all this was decided in that thrilling Falkland Islands match...

I was hoping for Ghana to take the Cup from the beginning, but mostly because they've got the best drum section...

The best bit of the game was the fighting on the pitch after it ended!

Peter: are you referring to the Falklands?

I got a barely relevant question...how come, here in the USA, the rules of the sport they call 'football' permit only one player to touch the ball with his foot? Wouldn't it make just as much sense to call soccer 'handball', since only one guy gets to touch the ball with his hands?

Ben, Shaquille O'Neal would never have a title if it was decided with free throws.

Oh sad sad day....out of the tournament. I can't believe it. But I guess if Lampard & Gerrard can't score a PK and Rooney stomps on a player's groin, then that's the way it has to be.

An all-Europe affair! I guess the host nation would have to be favourites now........

Germany should win it all now, at least by my reckoning.

Saturday morning was tough, but hey, I'm glad France knocked the Green Yankees out of the Cup. Last thing they need is another one!

I guess I don't get soccer. How does a team that gives up zero goals get eliminated?

The game is the game – on any given day any team can loose to any other team… was a good match – officiating seemed better. Now on to France and Portugal.
