Jeff,
Your killing me...."Tony, yes, two signed CS posters"!!! I feel sick....
Alisha, what can I say, you had a chance to meet & get a PIC with CS....congratulations!
Sigh; I wish I could have been there. I'm green with envy!

Paul, thanks for everything, sorry if I seemed a bit whiney.

Howard, isn't that what this holiday all about. You can send emails any time, but meeting all the nice RickenFolk over there is a once in a lifetime experience, so I understand your priorities. Having said that though I expect a detailed report of the event when you get some free time LOL.
From the pics I've seen on Yahoo, it looks like it's been a huge success!
Ah yes, sculling - in my younger days I'd only enter into this sport if someone else was buying; far too expensive a game for an apprentice in those days!!

Thanks again guys. Can't wait to hear about Chris Squire & Friends show. Lotsa pix I hope!!
How did it work with Squire turning up to sign the posters. Was that at one of the official signings? How long was he hanging around?

Chris Squire & Friends was a blast! They started off with the first two songs from FOOW and did some Yes tunes as well.
Before the show we all got to talk with CS and get pics with him. He was in MUCH better spirits than the night before at the museum, where he seemed a bit preoccupied, shall we say.
I did have a nice conversation with him and especially his very nice wife, Scotty, at the bar before the show. Perhaps Chris finally found the right one!

Chris's wife told me she generally peruses the forums (not this or the official RIC site) and often get dismayed by what is said. It was suggested to her they check out this and the Ric site. When I told her Chris was the reason I bought my first bass, she reacted with genuine surprise.
She told me a cute story: Seems there was a recent poll of "Best Bass Players", with JP Jones, the OX and Squire placing 1,2,3. She said it upset Chris, who said "I'm better than John Paul Jones!".

John Paul Jones is a good bassist, but if he weren't in Led Zep, he wouldn't have been on the list.

For those in on my little "secret", I have sent "it", referencing both this site and the Youtube video.
