It looks like we'll have six (Darren, Scott, Joey, Charly, Kenny, and me) for Claim Jumper tonight. I'll call in a reservation for that number, unless I hear different, for 7:00 p.m. - that should give Joey plenty of time to make it.

Better add another couple of chairs...Scott's son will be joining us....as will Alison...and I'm hoping Eric B will hang out with us too.

Well, as it turns out there WAS an advantage from being the first forumite to check in and the last one to check out of the Doubletree Club.
I've just arrived back from having lunch with John Hall and Matt.
I called into the RIC factory this morning to say thanks to John and Cindalee Hall and to drop off some Australian wine, which I was able to source locally with the help of a special friend. I couldn't bring it with me due to the hand luggage restrictions on flights into the US.
Let's just say that John showed the same kind of generosity and hospitality we have seen all weekend. I spent the best part of two and a hours with John....a totally unexpected and unplanned experience, which has just put the "icing on the cake" for me.
To say that I am completely gobsmacked would be an understatement.
