Anyone know of any 330's left anywhere?

Chicago Music Exchange. I just called them and they claim to have no 330's, 360's or 660's reserved. As for 4003's...forget about it.

Wildwood Guitars in Louisville, Colorado. They have at least one each of the guitars still available for reserve.

Good luck!

Damn! I can only afford a down payment right now. They want full payment up front. Image

I feel 100% defeated. I tried to get a 4003 everywhere I could think of around here, and not one place even claimed to know about it. Emailed many of the known internet dealers with my name and info if they happen to get some ordered as soon as it was announced. Only place that bothered to email me back had already sold them I guess. Good job for whoever was able to score one. I'm not going to even think about how much these are going to go for on ebay, and I'm oficialy giving up the notion of ever owning one or another ric at the moment.

will any of the 75th anniversary instruments actually get played ... or will they all just be collectors pieces ...

If I would have gotten ahold of one it would have been a player. I bet 25% will be flipped on ebay for profit, 50% or more will be stored away by collectors, and 25% or less will be gigged regularly...

You'll be able to make a profit when you get one, but I'll be surprised if they fetch really big $$$ like the other limited editions instruments. If they all come onto the market at the same time, which is projected, that could well dilute the resale value. There is the possibility that the majority will see this as a collectible 4003, rather than have an identity such as the CS or LK.

Buying a Seagreen or Desert Gold 4003 fits into the same category, except that there are probably fewer of them than the projected 75th bass units...

It will be interesting. I've always said that this forum has a huge inpact in manipulating the market as far as resale price, particularly on Ebay.

If a large percentage of the anniversary models were in fact bought up by forum members, how will they fare as far as resale ??

Count me in for a 4003 too.

My dealer was rather thankful that I'd been bugging him about this edition. He hadn't heard about it and didn't get calls from other customers until Thursday (that surprised me).

The 4003's most likely won't get the current LK prices, but double list + would not surprise me particularly in the overseas markets. My 4003DCM is a stay at home bass.
