"Gary - beautiful 4005, didn't know you had one."

Didn't you see it at the confluence in Santa Ana?

Hey Mark. About your April '73 burgundyglo... I don't suppose the serial number is MD 1445? Just curious....

Jeff, I was on sensory overload not having previously seen many Rick instruments! Looking back at my pics, I did take 3 or 4 of that bass, closeup of the body also. Huh.

Still a great looking bass, Gary!

I think Gary's bass is technically a 3261, not a 4005. It was Rose Morris' own name for the 4005 (Note the f-hole).

Yo Donald(Spamegg)- my Apr.73 is MD 135X, very close.
I can't remember your post but I'm assuming it's one that you sold and now regret? We all have those stories... I sold my first rick, an early 73 jetglo back when I was in my twenties....so I made up for that by getting three 4001's of the same time period now that I'm in my forties. A little more expensive now though....

Alan, I wasn't familiar with him so I googled, and yes I see the similarities. Of course I don't look like that now. I'll have to ask my fiancee if she knows him since she's from Liverpool.

Scott, I don't have a pic of the v63 at work, so that's why I added "... and others ...". Also MIA is a pic of the 4003 Blue Boy.

So far I only have a 99 CS and an 04 FG.

Still in practice as far as playing and waiting for the return of Yes on the road again.

Have a DCM on order and want a 4004 pretty bad.

Very nice FG - it has a desirable (for me) burst pattern, and has aged beautifully. Nice backing equipment also! Welcome.
