I think Aitch played a big part in making that song tight, personally.

I have listened to the song a few times now and given the fact that the members of the band were obviously somewhat nervous, that they were being filmed as well as being recorded; I think that they pulled the song off very well.

Never mind what Simon Cowell thought. He's just a bloke who's father owned a record company. What does he know about music? Image He should stick to giving Paula a bad time. Image

Howard, congratulations and I liked it. Your part was a lot better than my part on Mustang Sally.

Before you say anything, yes I using a Tele for first time. I would have probably been more comfortable using my 1997 as I did last year.

Cool, Richard! No probs using a Tele for the first time..... it was only a couple of years ago that I was using a Rickenbacker for the first time!! Image

BTW, my backup guitar on the night was a Strat - thankfully not required..........

Thanks, Brian and all. It was difficult to decide which song to put up.... even though the vocals were shaky on 'White Room' it was the one where we 'got it right'..... sort of. Image

Overall we were pretty happy with the gig. Four weeks isn't much time to get to know your fellow band members let alone put a 7 song set together.

Looks like we'll be continuing, too.

Great job BTW!

If it's the one I think it is, I can't wait for the opportunity to play it.
