North Of Malibu needs your vote. We were just nominated in the "best musician" divison for the '07 Craggy Awards given out by Cult Radio A Go Go....we can win a gargoyle statue! We will have a link on our myspace page soon so you can go and vote for us..if so inclined..we're up against Rob Zombie and other shock rock folk. Why us...sent them a download of The Creature off Impact Zone and they have been playing on their station and it gets a lot of play requests. So..help Paul, the guys and me win an ugly statue and sell more cd's! I'll post a follow up when the blog on our myspace page is up.,,Thanks!

We had a fun gig last week at a VERY small local English pub (The Toad In The Hole)...the hole holds about 50 people so keeping our volume levels in check was a challenge. Paul took charge of keeping our amps amd tempos correct as well as sharing guitar and frontman duties..I think he was also working on a refin but not sure but I think detected a hint of lacquer..might have been Paul's cologne.

Rick, our drummer used lighter sticks and all in all was a very cool gig with a super friendly crowd..one fellow got a little TOO friendly with Joe our bassist and his long hair

So..anyway just thought I'd "go public" with this one as I wanted to give Paul some props...now if I can get him here for practice next week....

You kids are worth the trip from anywhere.
I just missed ya. I'm starting a contract gig in SF today, but will be spending some of my time in Sonoma.
Hope to see you soon.

Thanks George. I had a great day!
I had to work today, but I'm even grateful for that. I had a great dinner (complete with white cake and buttercream frosting- my favorite) and was able to hang out with my brother and his family and tell his kids what it was like to grow up in the days of dinosaurs and ride on the Mayflower and stuff.
I've also been happily receiving warm wishes from wonderful people.
I'm back in Sonoma much of the time for the next two months, so if you kids really want to play some more gigs that would be better than okay.
