WOW Dale. Art from a true artist. Yes, the RIC custom shop is alive and well in Oregon. Makes me think about turning my trans green CII/5 into trans blue, the easy way :) , or AZ hmmmm....

Well firstly that Azure is just gorgeous!!!! It's nice to see it without the "green" effect you refer to. My old 76, which now belongs to a friend, has taken on a murky greenish tinge but there's a spot on the neck where the "clear" coat - I use the term loosely in this instance - has flaked off, and the blue looks great. This bass looks exactly how I think Azures should.

As for Dale's other pieces, wow!!! Somewhere down the line I hope I'll be able to get a "Dale" to go with my future "Paul". Isn't it unbelievable having craftsmen like these work on our Rics? Only a few years ago I'd never have dreamed it possible.

Dale, just freakin' awesome. That bass and the quilting on the maple back of the guitar is stunning. Kudos, my man!

Welcome back, Dale!

Love the stuff you've been working on, especially the 375F and Glenn's 1993. And that Monty Brown bass with the gold pickguard looks great too. Gah, it's all great. :D

BTW, shoot me an email when you get a minute - I want to know about sending a deposit for the "thing" you're building me.
