How would that work, exactly?1965 wrote:A thumb rest, like on a Fender Jazz.kiramdear wrote:Hi Graeme, say, what is this thing on the PG that I never noticed before?
That would be a 70's refinished version of Greenglo...kiramdear wrote:What do they call that finish color?! I WANT IT
I think strictly speaking it is a 'finger grip', i.e. grip it with your fingers and play with your thumb. My 4001 had one, but it was never used for that. I used to jam a couple of spare picks under it for emergencies.1965 wrote:A thumb rest, like on a Fender Jazz.kiramdear wrote:Hi Graeme, say, what is this thing on the PG that I never noticed before?
I did!4001_kenobie wrote:I really think the thumbrest/finger grip looks cool, and gives the bass a heap of vintage mojo. I dont know why they dont put them on all the re-issues.
you mean it was refinished in the 70's, or a restored 70's finish? I like the transparency.wints wrote:That would be a 70's refinished version of Greenglo...kiramdear wrote:What do they call that finish color?! I WANT IT
