Your new `do was looking good Joey. I like the shades as well. I'd keep wearing them even after the eye's completely healed!
It was a pleasture to organize things, and once I again I want to thank everyone for sharing music charts, suggesting songs, learning songs, helping foot the bill, showing up, playing, and having a great time! You all made it a great success! Exhausted as I am, I can't wait for the next one. Shall we say the end of July, and perhaps call it the
Fine Tuningcon (?!), since we're looking to hold SCARF at the end of the following month?
Stuff we didn't really get to but should since they're Rick playing bands:
The Searchers
The Kinks
Steppenwolf
The Jam (something in addition to "In the City"-Brian had some good suggestions.

)
The Smiths
Radiohead
Vito's acoustic sounded really sweet in the mix going through the direct box and coming out the monitors onstage. Nice touch Vito!
Dane's new custom xred 4004 is super cool! It looked, played, and sounded great; the tonal range on that instrument is amazing!
Thanks for taking pics Joey and Rich, and thanks for shooting video Gary!

Good idea on some more tunes/bands .... I thought the Gin Blossoms, Plimsouls and Smithereens sounded good on Saturday... and you and Brian and Dane had The Jam going there. I thought the Gin Blossoms "Follow Me Down" was one of the best of the jam...

We're sorry you two couldn't make it; it was a really good

It would have great to have had you both there. Ah, the next one, eh? Your wit and musicianship were both missed, and we'd like to see Debonee play some bass and sing some lead again as well.
Scott Jehlik had to cancel due to a funeral in the family, unfortunately.
Collin, I hope your mom's okay. We missed you as well!

Thanks Paul! She's fine. A pretty nasty (4-way) fracture, and she was headed for vacation in a couple weeks...guess that's off!
I totally missed it, setup the
Finetuningcon for July, and put my name top of the list---I'm there! I'm going to try getting my friend Bob (forum member as well) there too.

A HUGE thanks to Paul for organizing the event. It was a blast. It was great to see everyone again. The song list is ever-expanding. The Smithereens stuff was fun to play. Collin: I'm glad your mom's ok. I missed seeing the 12-string with the disco lights. Next time. Dan -- I like the glasses. Nice touch.
Brian.

Hey Gary --- hope you can post more pictures. Your camera has a much better lens than my little pocket size Epson... and your pictures have 1000% better clarity. So please post pics, even if some look similar to ones alreay posted... cause your pictures have much better resolution and you're a much better photographer !
Regards

Regarding July's "finetuningcon", the last Saturday in July is the 25th, so pencil in the date on your calendars.
