Don't forget:

CPI --crushed pearl inlays
FWI - Full width inlays

and last (but not least)

PW - Paul Wilczynski ( JingleJangle )

plus, you guys should add all the weird confluence jargon:

SoCalCon -- Souther California (Rickenbacker) Convention
MiniCon - Miniature (Rickenbacker) Convention
SCARF-?
MARF--?
BARF--? ( )

We planned a get-together earlier this year, but cancellations shot it down. :( Maybe we could start to try again. :)

BARF=(Baltimore, Boston, Bismarck, Bay) Area Rickenbacker Festival (....better rethink that one  )

SCARF is the alternate term for SoCalCon, specifically, Southern California Area Rickenbacker Festival, or So Cal Area Rick Fest. :D

Robert, why did you not include MARF? There have already been three of them, the first in Winchester, Va., and the second and third at POTR; they have been the biggest confluences, generally. :?

BTW, POTR is also missing from the list!

POTR - Pick Of The Ricks :D

I don't think you have enough items on the list. Can you please make it more extensive?

Once finalized, can the powers that be consider to add this Glossary or List as a link button up there at the top next to FAQ ??

That way a confused Forumite  can find the meaning of the acronym in question and click back to the Forum page he or she was on .....

I'm working on it. ;)

The ability to add websites is nice- makes it easy to get where you may want to go if you're looking for something in particular (like TI strings for instance, or MF or JS) or PW's webbie. It's never going to be done. As others have pointed out, language is an evolutionary thing...so are acronyms.

Rich,

That's entirely up to Peter and the good people running this Forum. At some point they can take it from me and edit it to their own heart's content. I'm not quite sure when it'll be "soup".

Thanks Collin, POTR was on the list- but I've added a hyperlink to their website. Is this the correct link for NCM?
