That way a confused Forumite can find the meaning of the acronym in question and click back to the Forum page he or she was on .....

The ability to add websites is nice- makes it easy to get where you may want to go if you're looking for something in particular (like TI strings for instance, or MF or JS) or PW's webbie. It's never going to be done. As others have pointed out, language is an evolutionary thing...so are acronyms.
