Good to hear that, Paul.

Enough is enough. Hope you guys and gals dry out soon.

Yeah, it's not really a big deal, until it hits 40 below. Then it gets to be a bit of a pain...johnallg wrote:Yeah. Try Buffalo - they measure snow in yards, not inches.
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Well, we didn't get all that much snow, only about a foot so far. But now the drifting has started. Wind 28mph, gusting to 43 right now. The highways in and out of town are closed, we've got 4-5 ft drifts all around the house and covering the drive way (only 1/4 mile). The sheep and lambs are in the barn, I'll probably have to dig a path in to feed 'em this evening. And when the wind dies down, start digging out the drive to the main road, which maybe they'll get plowed out in the next few days...
Luckily, I've got a couple of decent snow shovels:

Yes, finally over! Cleaned up all the debris on my driveway yesterday along with the gutters on the house and garage (again). 11.6" in those four storms (plus the horizontal rain which didn't get in my gauge). Nice to get a break from it and see some blue skies on Saturday afternoon. Hopefully the rest of the season will be spread more evenly and with less horizontal action

If it is to be, it is up to me.
