Visual differences as well. The V series shoes meet together and are straight across, parallel to the body. The latest C series shoes meet together at a shallow peak.
That is a most recent development - less than a year.

There was on several months ago (located in Sweden or Switzerland, or someplace like that) that appeared to be in mint condition, but didn't garner much attention.

Hey, remember that one that was all discolored big-time. It looked like is may have been positioned right above a cigarette exhaust fan or something.

Nicotine-glow

And I have been lucky enough to acquire it. I tried buying one of these several years ago on ebay. I had to bow out when the bidding reached 7K. Timing... they say is everything. I will post pics after it arrives. I am stoked!
I think the early one's that have faded to the yellow are so cool looking. Congrats!

Tony.. it was indeed the one from ebay. Like most people here, CS has been a huge influence on my musical endeavours. To own one of these, and my previous acquistion of the McCartney Maple Glo along with my JetGlo purchase in honour of Geddy.. I am now rickencomplete. Now I just really hope the world isnt going to end in November like the Mayans have predicted :D

More than a year.

My July 2009 model has this feature. I think I've seen it on older ones.
