Wow, that might be the flamey-est RM 1999 I've ever seen. Super wood, a beauty. :wink:

I'm not sure. I understood from other posts that 4001S / RM1999 are the same physically, and it is an RM1999 only if exported to the UK. I assume the serial number and Rickenbacker shipping records are the only way of finding this out.

What a superb example. Definitely one of the best from a grain perspective. Gerry's had a nice touch as well, so possibly the wood used for the DK down under batch was a bit special...

serial #'s of ricks sent to england and aussie and nzland as part of the rose morris batches. ??? someone has to know.
