Ironically, the fireworks picture was taken on my older Olympus D-400Z. That camera is capable of taking some really good pictures completely automatically:
I need to get my skill on the newer Evolt to that level without it taking minutes to make the settings!

That last shot looks like something out of the Avatar jungle.

I've seen the MBA exhibit a couple times! Great place to spend the day (the aquarium).

Where is Mt Lassen? Looks like a place I need to check out on my next venture to the funny coast.

Ross --- Lassen it's North East of Sacramento, at the Southern end of the Cascade range in North-East California. It's a long drive from anywhere -- but very scenic with the volcano's and hot springs etc
