Reverse Jetglos have been made, but lacking in a few desirable characteristics of the model under discussion, such as pearlescent paint, toasters, 21-fret neck and f-hole (and smaller headstock). However, you can get an idea of the general "look" from this 1996 model 330:

Yes, thanks Ron but as you properly point out not with all the features in the UK Pearl White Specials. Your examples surely give us a very good idea of the end result. Very striking.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

You are welcome to state your opinion and I only suggested you state it as such- not as if were a factual statement that they were "incorrect". I'm not even trying to change your opinion.

Thanks for welcoming my opinions John. I'm attaching a pic of the guitar with guards fitted which are sized/shaped closer to typical 330/360 guards; personally I prefer the look of these better on this body shape/size.

These guitars look great, but to me, white-on-white is where it's at!! If there is a US dealer that has a future special order for all white Ricks, put me down for a 330-6. Just pm me for a deposit. -Jeff.

Nice to see someone prepared to put their money where their mouth is Jeff...rather than just floating "opinions"....

Eddie, that is a far more pleasing gold color than stock. Obviously the shape is a huge improvement as well. :D

..well shame on you Graham (but from a completely different perspective)....I really thought you were going to get your router to work on the headstock and present us with the world's first Pearl White 1993 SPC!!! :(
That one will come to it's fruition in a few weeks..... 8)

Now......black guards, silver or gold? :?:

Thanks John. FYI the factory stock gold guards and gold trc don't colour match (BTW that's fact, not opinion). The plexiglass I cut for the new guards is described by the supplier as "vintage gold". It's actually a better match for the colour of the factory trc than the factory guards I took off as you can probably see in the picture I posted earlier. I took the trc off my 325C58 and compared it to the trc on this white guitar - as far as I can see they are identical in dimensions (same screw hole spacing and size) - the gold shading on the two trc's was very close but slightly different - I'm assuming these trc's used on the white guitars were made for the 325C58 series guitars but I'm guessing it must be difficult to do an exact colour match on gold between batches. The factory fitted gold guards are a much brighter/yellowy shade of gold whereas the trc has the duller "vintage" shading (which you'll have seen if you've ever handled a 325C58). Seems to me these guards were designed to fit a different series instrument (in fact I recall Ben saying in a post somewhere a few weeks ago that they were designed for a 600 series guitar...or maybe I just remembered that bit incorrectly..)

Wow..that sounds great John...can't wait to see the shots. :D I must admit I was sorely tempted to get the tools onto the headstock of mine as a 1993 is a dream guitar for me; in the end I took the wise counsel of some fellow forumites and decided to leave it as a six string (...at least for now... )

Correct Eddie, these are 660 guards. I hope the next time they can't be bothered making a couple of pickguards, they just call Pickguardian (or you!) instead of slapping I'll-fitting ones on!
