I got mine from Northcoast Music, and Gary is a good friend, so I had no problems. I recommend NCM to anyone. He usually concentrates on the "British Invasion" instruments, but will order the more modern ones, such as the Cheyenne, as well.

No shock here,
Mike Parks came through with flying colors!
He was honest and forthright. He knew what these babies were going to be worth and he delivered with flying colors! AGAIN.
Not to mention it was set up PERFECTLY and packed securely!

Old Boise Guitar in Boise and Parkway Music, Clifton Park, NY. are the dealers I purchased from and they were both great. Of course I consider John at Old Boise a good friend.
I have purchased from Gary at Northcoast too and I consider him a friend too. he is a very good man.

I've emailed Peter asking if we could have a Topic heading entitled "Dealer Feedback."
I think if we had a running thread for every one of these dealers it would be a good thing. Good dealers should be rewarded with more business.

Now stop laughing guys but - Ed Roman - His guy called me the minute mine arrived, and shipped it overnight, Saturday delivery charging me exact shipping charges so I could have it in time for MARF.
btw - Ed knew what they would be worth. His worker even told me he was selling one, keeping one.

I'm not laughing Marc. It's good to hear a positive story about Ed. I think this would be the first that I've heard.

Jeff - I wouldn't count on it. There are surely legal issues that would complicate matters.

I echo that sentiment, Joey. What really sucks to me is all the people who are getting screwed out of theirs while other people with pockets drive the prices up and buy multiples. Hopefully the craziness is settling back down though, and I can't complain, and have no right to knock it, after all, that's just straight capitalism, right? I'm just glad I got my 360 for 74% of list. So NYAH!!!

Ordering more than one, or ordering a complete set is not a crime, nor is there anything wrong with it, if I had the Ric"o"Dollars I'd have had one of each !!!
The real issue is the few dealers who saw the potential to make a fast profit, to do so they swindled customers who had placed legitimate orders.
As soon as that first DCM-4003 went on Ebay for more than double retail this kind of stuff was inevitable.
In another case someone was under the impression that their order had been placed, when in fact the dealer, or distributer neglected to place the order.

I have to thanks Jared, as he brought up that Ed Roman might take the order. My first call was To Rudy's in NYC, who took the order, then immediately called me back realizing they couldn't get them.
Question is, what do I do with it? I love my v63 and my project. I also got "stuck"(lol) with a Jan 73. The thought just occurred to me that maybe I should get a beautiful display case and hang it in the home somewhere, or else this could become a closet classic.
