Hey Steve, y'know, we had no idea about the Kids in the Hall skit when we named the band. Oh well...
That gig was at Holy Joes', upstairs from the Reverb. We played the 360 on Queen W. about a week later and unfortunately our drummer informed us that it was going to be his last gig due to too much pressure at work - and since he's a partner of the company, I guess I can't fault him.
Anybody know a good, available drummer in Toronto? All we ask for is one 3-4 hour rehearsal a week!

isn't Neil Peart from Toronto?

Peart's actually from St. Catharines and I think he's lives in California now, so I don't think he'd be available.
Sorry David - I'm a bit north of Toronto in the 'burbs so I'm not exactly in the loop for downtown players.

I like Sophie. Does she like American guys?(I'm not obese and I'm not rude!)
Is that a Livestrong bracelet she's wearing? If so, then we already have something in common other than music!
I think its a good match. I'll look into flights to the UK.

Jeff, gosh.... I will pass the message on! Sophie is 26 ( I think ) single, good sense of humour, into music.... quite a catch really..!
The bracelet are those security band/stage pass things that we have to wear at some gigs.

Thanks Bob. Tell her she has a small but loyal fan club here in Chicago.
Why are the good ones always a half a globe away from me?

Jeff.....I think Sophie's restraining order states that you have to stay half a globe away at all times

LOL, Brian! Actually I'm a perfect gentleman with no arrest record.(Go ahead, check...you got nothin'!)
She would like me because I'm a sensitive caring man for the new milennium. I have a good sense of humor and I'm secure with my masculinity yet in touch with my feminine side!
(What does that mean, anyway?)
And most importantly, she would like me because I play a Rick bass.
