Nice photo Melissa. I see you've got another RIC on deck.

That was taken last year at our annual local festival called "Fisherman's Picnic." The other Ric was my model 1997 on standby as a backup.... Our bass player played his 4001V63.
We will be playing the same venue again in a couple of weeks, and I will also have a solo gig on the acoustic stage--I'll be using my Ric acoustic, of course!
Sadly, Bill our bass player will probably not be with us this year for the gig, as he is undergoing treatment for a fungal infection in his lungs that was a complication from chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant.... Here's a pic of him from last year.
The incomparable Billy D., the best musician in the bunch!

Melissa,
Gorgeous! The gold pickguard/TRC really goes well with that Teal green, too. I'll bet you sound fantastic. I used to have one in black (a little John Lennon 325 w/ toasters and an "R" tailpiece from 1982). It had a big, fat rhythm sound for such a tiny guitar. Again, lovely guitar you've got there

Melissa,
My previous post appears a bit..callous coming on the heels of your post about your friend Bill. I hope he licks his medical problems!
Melissa when I composed my post, YOUR post wasn't THERE yet, so I didn't see anything about your freind Bill or I surely would've offered a word of kindness

Wanted to let you know.
Respectfully,
Larry Carroll

Thank you all.... Bill is an amazing guy and has handled his leukemia with a great attitude and an unshakable faith--he is a fighter, and lots of people have been praying for him! I am confident that he will pull through this--I know he wants to come back and play with the rest of us again!
And yes, I love my turquoise 325--for such a little guitar, it has a HUGE jangle that easily cuts through the mix, more so than any of my other Rics!

Hi Kent,
Pretty close on the pants. You must have caught a few of our gigs back in 65. LOL
We got real fancy later in 66. I'll see if I can dig up a promo shot for Quality Records for you. You'll get a kick out of those as well. Hey the Kinks wore similar clothes so we were cool back then.

Hi Melissa,
Just noticed your posts and thought I should send a quick note to you. Hopefully you can give my best regards as well to your friend Bill who I see from the thread is recovering well
I am confident that the prayers of your congregation and his faith have helped immensely. p.s. love the colour of your 350 as well.

Thanks for sharing about Bill, Melissa. Great news that he is back and offering up his praise and worship with the rest of the group, PTL.
Great pictures of both you and the 325 and Bill with his Ric bass. BTW, if you ever want to trade your Ric Acoustic for my J160E, let me know.

Thanks again, guys.... I will be sure to pass along all the kind words to Bill; I imagine he is too busy to check his email right now, since he hasn't been home for about seven months.
And Bill Yantz, thanks for the offer, but I would never trade my Ric acoustic for anything! I absolutely love it, and I think it is the best-looking and best-sounding acoustic there is--it is a really special guitar and I fall in love all over again every time I play it, LOL!

That's the photo that appeared in your local, isn't it Melissa? Cool!
Are you sure the guitar doesn't need a bit of a polish?
