I'm told you've got to be careful with that stuff - the risk of Lenticular cancer is quite high.....

I always wanted to do a segment on my radio show with a weatherman named Len Ticular, mostly just so I could turn to him and say, "By the way, Len, how's your sister Tess?"
I didn't get where I am today by being on time...

They are cousins of Pearl Essent and her sister, Lumen.

And also related to the Evenings, Sam and Janet.

And the Normal brothers, Ab and Sub.

Lost me there, Aitch.

What was your name before you converted to Oz?

Ron, I am excited to see and play the guitar, but the experience of watching Paul bring this guitar back to life has been half the enjoyment, and will make this guitar special.

David, you've got a nerve bringing this back on-thread, LOL!

Here it is as it arrived:ImageImage
Image
...as it was scraped:ImageImage

...the fiberglass and bondo that was uncovered:Image

...the crack underneath:Image

...repairing the crack with a thin strip of poplar:Image

Jigging it up for routing and refretting:ImageImage

The neck just before fretting:Image

Finally, sealing just before applying the dye:Image

The rest is shown in previous posts.

David, I'll be giving you a CD with all of the photos (maybe about 150-200?) of the entire process, with the guitar when I ship it on Monday. I've moved the shipping date to Monday because there are several guitars going out on that date.
