The confluence has concluded. It was a great experience. I just got my Rickenbabies home.
It was a pleasure to meet the great people that I would not have met if it were not for the confluence and the many great Rickenbacker instruments that I have never had the opportunity to see, hear or play.
Special thanks to Gary Clauson and Jim Glen.
Very special thanks to John Hall.
I will post more pictures a little later after I resize them. I have to cool off first. Gary and I carried many guitars, basses and amps from the hotel and then to where he works, then mine to home...and it was a hot one here today!

The JETGLO finish name should be officially changed to JETGLO ROCKS!

From Saturday:
Did everyone there sign the guest book?
If you didn't, please let either Gary or me know.
Tom Fowler and John Minutaglio near John's impressive collection, Jim Blake and Dane Wilder at the rear:
Left to right: Tom Fowler, Dane, Charley G, Kevin Donaker Ring, Jim Blake, Cindalee Hall, Kenny, John Hall, Bob Rissi.
Dane's double neck made from two 3000 basses at front left, Gary at the right:
Some of John Minutaglio's collection, Charly shows Kenny his project bass at the rear:
This is Gary's friend Mark. Mark is not a forum member, but I think he lurks here. He was a great help moving and setting up gear, a really nice guy. Mark's daughter counted up the guitars and basses for us. Hey Mark, join the forum.
John Minutaglio's Mandolin:
From Sunday:
Gary's John Kay model:
Paul Boyer admiring Gary's 4003 Redneck:
Gary and John Minutaglio:
Right to left: Gary, Paul and Tom:
A 4004Cii5 salute from John Minutaglio and I:
I have more that I can post tomorrow, mostly guitar / bass pics. John Minutaglio had a nicer camera than I did, he took several pics of instruments also, so we'll see what he has.

One thing to notice about that 1/2 guitar -- the finish.
This was a 366/12. I still have the base plate (plastic and metal) where the comb went. It was on the guitar when I bought it. You can see where it was, right up against the neck pickup.
Look at the difference in color. Amazing how much pink you see in there... just like a brand new finish from today. If that doesn't definitively show that the fresh-from-the-factory color of Fireglo has not changed, then nothing will.

It was the first time I played any of the Fs (I also played a 345F MG from 1960 - very cool vibe on that one!). Nice guitars, very special feel to them.
I will post some other factory tour pics in this thread later today.
