4001 Vs 4003

I have no favorite when it comes to my basses. If pressed for one, I would have to go with this.

very nice ted. Is that a refin of is it just that well cared for? I see very little yellowing.

It is original. The finish has it's share of dents and scrapes but it is still beautiful after all those years (March '63).

Henny, it's all about the deluxe...

I have just spent a small fortune, getting my White RM1999 converted to "deluxe" spec...

I couldn't take the simple look any longer.

New neck inlays, (that was the most labour/time intensive...) pickguard, trc, and changed out (and sold..) original pick ups.

It's like having a new bass....
