Yeah, lots of Mexican food here but I haven't heard of the breakfast tacos. Anyone have a suggestion for where to go for one once I arrive to Dallas?

Although I'll be missing the confluence, it will be nice to see familiar faces for my first time in Texas.

Mike, will you be there too?

Ahhh ... that's down the hill Mike, about 70 miles away, very interesting though.

Allison, if you like Sushi there's a fantastic place just off the Beltline Parkway

Absolutely, Alison! I will only e able to be there on Sunday. My favorite Mexican places in Dallas: Javier's - about the best Mexican I've ever had! It's upscale food meaning no tacos or enchiladas. A great cigar bar too! Definite stop!
Also Manny's - usual mexican cuisine, Great for lunch. Try the brisket tacos (damn!) at Mi Cocina. There are a couple of locations.

I grew up in So. Cal, moved to Scottsdale, but the best Mexican ever is in Dallas!

Yes, yes....I do like sushi very much. Although I don't think the crazy British couple I'll be traveling with are into it. Image

Javier's? It sounds like it might be the same Javier's that we have here in Laguna Beach and at the Spectrum in Irvine. Except there's no cigar bar in ours that I've noticed. Hmmmmm....

Cool beans then. I'll be seeing you Sunday for sure. I fly in Saturday morning and fly out Sunday evening. (HahahahaHAHAHA!!! I just said "cool beans"! I always say that but never has it been in such a perfect context)

Looking forward to it!

How about some pictures of your adventures? I want to hear all about Dallas! None of that "what happens in Dallas stays in Dallas" that Graham's always going on about....
