Sabres win 5-4, series 4-2. It was a good run!

This next round will be interesting. Can The Sabres get by The Sens? I am not sure how I feel about that matchup
Can The Wings blow by the Ducks in four straight? I hope so.

Well Brian, much as I want to see a Canadian team in the cup final series, and Ottawa is my second fav team, I have some doubts that they will get past Buffalo. The Sabres are a powerhouse this year. Actually, I had hoped the Rangers would have got them. the Sens stood a better chance against them.
Anaheim will be tough. Detroit may do it, but I doubt in 4 straight.
There's great hockey headed our way for sure. I think these wil be two very close series.

That's exactly right Dean,
It would be nice to see the Sens get past the Sabres in some respects just because they are Canadian based but.... who knows?
The Ducks can be had by a great team. I am hoping that great team shows up in this series and then can lick their wounds until their next quarry shows up.
Wishful thinking? Given how the referees tend to control the outcome of a game these days, more than likely my wishes will be in vain.

Well as of tonight the Wings are through to the final four, so look out Ducks.

I predict that this series is going to be good entertainment value. Am I the only forum member rooting for Detroit?

I'd like to see an Ottawa/Detroit final. I'll be rooting for Detroit the whole way.

Buffalo all the way!
(I'm still bitter about their loss to Dallas in '99)

Just a quick quack in favour of bringing the Cup to LA for ONCE.

Go Ducks!

I have always been a Wing nut! But then again I would love to see some of the old rivalries of the original six come back to light. Unfortunately the NHL is trying to spark new rivalries by scheduling very few games of the six against each other, unless it happens in the playoffs.
